TomTom (almost) makes a viral
GPS manufacturer TomTom, promotes their new Christmas competition with this funny video. They've spent their entire budget on great prizes and presents, and the video might not be quite as impressive as they wanted it to be. The video was created as a parody of viral campaigns like Old Spice, Will a blend? and even Felix Baumgartner. The film has reached almost 500,000 views in 12 days which of course is not that impressive, but we want to give it a chance here on Weekly Buzz.
Red Stripe Prank
The beer company Red Stripe came up with this prank in a corner shop in London. Each time a customer grabs a bottle in the shop’s fridge, red lights and music starts together with moving bottles, juice boxes, chips etc. A Red Stripe show!
After watching the prank you can see, how much fun they had putting all this together.
BGH – I hate summer
In this commercial we meet an old grumpy man who hates the summer. While looking out between the blinds in his window he thinks about people sweating, tanning and burning up in the summer heat. A really dramatic and melancholic commercial that stands out from the crowd.
The advertiser is the air condition specialists from BGH... Take a look and get drawn into the dramatic atmosphere!
Dumb ways to die…
Over 25 million views on Youtube and still growing - even on a video about train safety! This morbid and funny video was created by Melbourne Railways, in a campaign with the message "Be safe around Trains". A catchy tune supports the creative gif animation and it works quite well.
