Beardyman
Human Beatbox has been popular since the beginning of the 1980’s. The art of beatboxing has been used in multiple contexts: from “Stranger in Moscow” by Michael Jackson to the YouTube sensation “Hyperactive” by Lasse Gjertsen – who is beatboxing in a different but fresh way. The British candy manufacturer Rowntree’s Randoms is using the beatbox champion Beardyman in their new campaign. The fairly hyperactive Beardyman tears around in a shopping mall, while impersonation an elevator and a dog.
Beardyman is know from multiple YouTube videos. One of the most popular features is made up Austrian professor Bernhard Steinerhoff, who is beatboxing while lecturing students. Here he is even impersonating Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and many others.
A very entertaining campaign and the campaign site is definitely no exception.
