Lady Gaga & GagaVille

Lady Gaga is regarded as one of the biggest pop phenomenons for the time being, and the promotion of her new album “Born This Way” is just as extravagant as the singer’s costumes. One link in the promotional process is co-branding with the Internets most popular game FarmVille. The online game is developed by Zynga and has more than 62 million active players and the games position as “most popular” is strengthened by the collaboration with Facebook.
So how do you transfer Lady Gaga’s bizarre universe to the cosy FarmVille interface? It’s done by letting players farm crystal crops, and pimp their tractors and horses. Players can also buy tracks from the new album. A funny promotional video for the game captures the merge of the two universes perfectly.

Starring: Old Spice Man, Lady GaGa and Antione Dodson. Enjoy the rather soft start to 2011, and tune in to your Weekly Buzz to stay updated on viral projects.
